Top Kenyan singer and rapper Juliani has teamed up with Suzziah- one of Kenya’s most promising singers, to release “Formula”—new theme song to Form Ni Gani. The song has been produced by legendary Kenyan producer Musyoka of Decimal Records. Get the track:
In the song, Juliani and Suzziah take on the personas of a couple at the peek of a love triangle. They both freely talk about the issues of many relationships like the possibility of marriage, career consideration, financial challenges and family planning methods. Juliani said, “I have often thought a lot about topics around Family Planning and even got inspired to write lyrics to many unreleased songs. Form Ni Gani theme song will spark a conversations. We want to change the narrative.”

The new anthem comes in the wake of activities within the #FormNiGani Movement (launched 17th April, 2018). So far, they include the #FormNiNgoma Bungoma concert (12th May 2018), the #FormNiBall 7-a-side football tournament held at Starehe Boys (28th & 29th April, 2018) and an exhibition by Boniface Mwangi highlighting more than 60 personal stories on sex—all to create awareness and address issues on Family Planning.
