Tanzania's Most Played: July Edition


This month's roundup is also graced by all your favorite music makers. From the King of the East; Diamond Platnumz and his fellow Wasafi teammates to heavyweight by the name; Harmonize, here are the most played tracks of the month from Tanzania.

Rayvanny ft. Diamond Platnumz - Amaboko

Tanzania's biggest stars; Rayvanny and Diamond Platnumz  kick up a storm with the debut of the official music video for their hit track; "Amaboko".

Just as the tracks high energy suggests, the stars come through with intricately synchronized choreography in a number of settings for you to dance along to.



Zuchu - Mauzauza

The chemistry is greatly felt on this mother-daughter duo; "Mauzauza" between Bongo Flava queen Zuchu and her mother; Khadija Kopa a reigning Taarab queen.

They sing about the absurd things one would do to break a union between two lovers, insinuating that they are greatly protected by the powers that be and therefore cannot be harmed.


King 98 ft. Diamond Platnumz - Kachiri

The King of the East; Diamond Platnumz carries a double feature in this months Most Played tracks. He joins Zimbabwe's; King 98 on a major tune titled "Kachiri".

They bring together lyrical flow and rhythmic Bongo beats to produce a danceable hit. The official music video is nothing short of entertaining as the stars go back to back showing off their impressive footwork in a variety of simple yet classic settings.



Harmonize -Mpaka Kesho

Harmonize comes back with a love song titled "Mpaka Kesho"  where he tells the heart wrenching story of a simple man who will never again see the love of his life. His lover is played by the beautiful Mimi Mars, where she is married off to a foreigner by her parents.
