Victoria Kimani, Diamond Platinumz & Triplets Ghetto Kids win big at the Afrimma Awards -2017

The fourth edition of the annual Africa Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) was held on Sunday 8th October at The House of Blues in Dallas, Texas. African artistes from different parts of the continent rolled up, ready to put on a show on the biggest African music awards ceremony in diaspora.

During this year’s edition, Kenyan songstress Victoria Kimani won the Best Female East Africa artiste. She is currently riding high with her hit songs “March Along” and “Lover” featuring Phyno.

Tanzanian artiste Diamond Platinumz who is currently riding high with his latest jam "Hallelujah" featuring Morgan Heritage scooped the award for the Best Male East Africa and Artist of the Year!

The Triplets Ghetto Kids from Uganda also won in the Best African Dancer category to become the first Ugandans to win an Afrimma award. The group has been able to win the hearts of many people across the world since their feature on “Unforgettable” by International superstars French Monatana and Swae Lee. This year alone, they have performed at the BET 2017 Awards and Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards - 2017.
