Tanzanian songstress CHERRY, a rising star in the music scene, has unveiled her latest creation titled Go Baby in response to the increasing demand for upbeat and lyrically-rich love songs in Tanzania.

Comparing it to her previous hit Ole, CHERRY highlights the stark difference in musical style. While Ole played around with Afro-piano music, Go Baby is her first full embrace of the Afrobeats genre.

The talented Kimambo Beats, renowned for collaborating with top artists in the African music industry, such as Nandy, Mr Eazi, Timaya, Ali Kiba, Eddy Kenzo, and Willy Paul, produced Go Baby.

Cherry is a multi-talented artist, who rose to prominence as one of the top ten finalists in Tanzania's prestigious Bongo Star Search Show in 2020.

Inspired by the likes of Beyoncé, Tems, Lady Jaydee, and Rihanna, Cherry has carved out a distinct sound that sets her apart from her peers. Her music seamlessly blends R&B, Soul, and Afrobeat, resulting in a refreshing and soulful musical experience.

A significant milestone in her career came in November 2022 when Cherry signed with BXTRA Records. Since then, she has released her debut single Ole and showcased her talents in the film industry with the enchanting soundtrack EP for the romance drama titled Love Transfusion.
