It's that season when all you want is to chill and reflect of how 2018 has been treating you! The good news that Coke Studio Africa is back and will be releasing a Christmas playlist soon couldn't have come at a better time. Imagine your favourite African acts singing to Christmas Carols redone to suit the urban contemporary sounds? Don't trust us? Test the sounds:
At the very same time, the show has announced several acts set to feature on the show. From Kenyan hitmakers: Moji Short Baba, Naiboi and Khaligraph Jones to Tanzanian heavy hitmakers: Rayvanny, Nandy, Harmonize and Juma Jux; viewers will enjoy exciting music fusions like throwbacks and original compositions from this lot. Uganda will be represented by top award-winning diva, Sheebah, returning on the show for her second time. She will be joined by popular Ugandan music acts such as Fik Fameica and King Saha. A roaster of first timers on the show from Ethiopia includes celebrated songstress Mahlet, to seasoned crooners: Bisrat, Abush Zekele, Yared Negu and Rophnan Nuri.
