Fally Ipupa thrills fans at the Koroga Festival

The 19th edition of the Koroga Festival went down at the Carnivore grounds over the weekend(Sat 30th Sept and Sun 1st October). The two day event saw music art and fashion lovers turn out in large numbers for a thrilling experience.

Saturday was the party starter that saw various DJs entertaining the crowd through the afternoon and night. Some of the DJs who were lined up for the show included Noise on Demand (NOD), DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Exclusive and DJ Slick.

The main highlight of the festival was Congolese artiste Fally Ipupa who brought down the house with a thrilling performance at the sold out concert. The "Tokoos" singer and his dancers wowed the crowd with an electrifying two hour performance belting out hit after hit, from “Nyokalesse”, “Cadenas”, “Sexy Dance”, “Associe” and the latest songs from his “Tokoos” Album.

Other artistes who performed included The Kansoul, Linda 254 and the “Crown of Prince of Benga” Dan Aceda, who electrified the crowd with a mix of  old and modern benga fusing George Mukabi’s work with Gidi Gidi Maji Maji, John De Mathew and Them Mushrooms.
