Suzanne Gachukia in new album - 9 years later!
One of Kenya's most influential veteran female artistes Suzanne Gachukia has announced that she will be releasing her first album in nine years, soon. The album will be titled The Zannaziki All Stars and will feature a cross section of Kenyan artistes who have made a contribution to the making of Kenya's sound. The artistes will be performing renditions of some of the songs Suzanne's old classics released over the past three decades. They include Wyre, Hellen Mtawali, Liz Njoroge, Nyota Ndogo, Ulopa and Kayamba Africa among others.
Suzanne and Wyre have already shot the music video to the project's first single “Kondo Gakwa” directed by Kenyan director Kevin Bosco. Suzanne's label Sub Sahara Entertainment’s confirms that The Zannaziki All Stars will have 28 songs and come in two volumes.
