"Slim T, real name Okeowo Adetayo Temilade is a rapper/songwriter born and bred in Lagos state, Nigeria. An upcoming Nigerian artiste who grew up in a talented musical family and influenced by Lupe Fiasco, Jay z, Eldee, Trybesmen, M.I, Linkin Park, you can say Slim T's style of music is fun and youthful while at the same time deep with hidden messages.
Slim T has been refining his song writing skills, image and stage presence since he was 12 years old; having been involved in church shows and freestyle battles with his older brother’s Slim T is no stranger to performing. He has had the opportunity to record and perform with Brymo, Wizkid, Eva, 5mics, Skales, Sukiyaki, etc. Playing at numerous gigs and making sure that his name and music were being heard by as many people as possible.
Signed to Trip City Entertainment in 2012, Slim T’s 1st official debut single, ‘Lagosians’ was released; the song was inspired by his love and life in the most commercial city in Africa, Lagos. On the TinTin produced song, Slim T played around with a unique blend of rap and afro-pop sounds. With just one song, Slim T caught a nomination as ‘Rookie of the Year’ at the 2012 edition of The Headies.
In 2013, the Kids Clean Club ambassador put out another society-conscious single titled ‘Ojo’."
