While acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and then a Master’s degree in International Business Management, Ebisan never lost sight of her passion for music. She continued to work on her song writing and vocal skills. She also worked as a session and wedding singer.
Whilst in the UK, Ebisan released a single, What Women Want, featuring DM-Squared, which debuted in the 2007 UK top 20 gospel charts and remained there for three months. It also featured on the Cross Rhythms chart and stayed there for a year. The song was well received by various radio stations in the UK including a BBC radio station.
Ebisan then decided to return to Nigeria to join the vibrant and fast growing music industry and is dedicated to creating beautiful, soulful music for all to enjoy.
Her first entry into the Nigerian music scene was with the title track, Suru, on the soundtrack of the critically acclaimed movie 'Tango with Me', starring Genevieve Nnaji and Joseph Benjamin. Ebisan co-wrote and recorded both Suru and another song on the soundtrack, Dance with Me.
Her first official single, Love Story, was released in 2011 to rave reviews. The video, starring Joseph Benjamin, showcased not just her awesome vocals but her acting skills as well.
Her award winning second single, Jowo, was released in June 2012 and its brilliant video came shortly after. With them she shows off her wide vocal range and the fun, quirky side to her music and personality. Clearly at home in front of the camera, she demonstrates her versatility - as a talented singer, strong songwriter and budding actress. The song still receives major radio airplay and the video won the Best Alternative category at the Nigerian Music Video Award (NMVA) in 2012.
