Hero5000 – We Global + Shayo (Remix)

Music

Dougie Stryfe and FC Da Blessing, make up the U.S. based group, who have been performing and recording together for the past four years. With music that’s a potent blend of mesmerizing beats, incredible melodies, and unmatched lyrical skill; Hero5000 is here to the rescue. The Washington, D.C. Metro Area based hip-hop group of Nigerian & Ethiopian heritage, respectively, are here to offer their fresh global perspective on hip hop music.

These guys are solid rappers! FcDaBlessing is Nigerian while DougieStryfe is from Ethiopia; if they do all the right things as far as promo and strategy, they may be able to penetrate both markets (Nigerian and Ethiopian) to create a serious buzz for themselves in Africa as a whole.

Even the Shayo Remix, as old as it is still sounds lovely!

Video: Oritse Femi – Shayo ft. Rocksteady

Videos

For the Galala/Konto lovers, here’s the video for a previously posted track. The song has been doing very well on the streets ever since.

Quoting myself:

If u understand slangs like shenkes, gbege, soroto/surutu, shoko, kpeme, lati, kaka, kpomo etc… then u’re ready to be enrolled in “Warri 101” or “Ajegunle 201“.

Oritse Femi – Shayo ft Rocksteady

Music

Another hit from Oritse Femi. He's the sole-survivor in the sinking konto world. I guess the only way to survive is by making the music a bit more secular.
