This year’s MMA’s (the 16th ever ceremony) were some of the most controversial that we have seen in recent memory. As such, we’ve seen the aftermath rumble on throughout the week and people simply cannot stop talking about who should have won what on the big night.
One of the big stories we came across after the ceremony involved Mabala Noise (surprise surprise) and the hitmaker behind “Moreki”, King Monada.
There was a story claiming that Mabala had paid Monada to skip this year’s MMA’s because they feared he would steal the show. In order to avoid this, the story claims that they bribed him with a car.
However, Times Live has been able to prove that this story is well and truly false:

As it turns out, Monada was actually attending to his son’s ill health. He cancelled and postponed all gigs until his son is better according to management:
“It was my first time seeing him [Monada] cry like that for his son. He is hurting. So we have decided to block his gigs until the child is better. It’s frustrating to watch a child that ill and we wish we could help,”
