VIDEO: MC Galaxy ft. Davido – Nek-Unek

Post by Ovie O, November 1st, 2013

The sweet Highlife tune “Nek Unek” by MC Galaxy and Davido now has excellent visuals to go with it. What you see right here is a video rich in the culture of the people of the Niger-Delta with Akwa-Ibom and Calabar as prime focus ( the Ibibio-speaking and Etighi-dancing folks).

Guest appearances include Orezi, Patoranking, Shizzi.

Directed by Patrick Elis. (One of his best videos in a while).

Produced by Shizzi.

original we know say na u get that dance

    • Na Me Talk Am says:

Neither him or Inyanya get the dance, the etighi dance started a year ago before Inyanya recorded the track and the dance was popular with kids. that's the same way artquake claimed alanta whereas they don't even live in ajegunle where the dance started.

  8. james says:

this video is better than the two skelewu put together and it cost a fraction of the cost.

  9. UyoBoy says:

Nice video, but the song is crap. First of all Godswill Akpabio is the governor of Akwa Ibom not Calabar. And the guy obviously just took the lines from King Zorro Boy's song and turned it into this verses. No creativity at all.

    • Na Me Talk Am says:

Your head dey there, mixed up lyrics and may not get money from Godswill like others did (pasto goody goody and xto). Peope here have not listen to King Zorro Boy that is why dey feel he sang a good verse. Now as per the song, it is enjoyable and the video is quite catchy.

  19. Efik says:

    PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT.

GODSWILL AKPABIO IS THE GOVERNOR OF AKWA IBOM STATE. CALABAR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH AKWA IBOM STATE. CALABAR IS IN CROSS RIVER STATE AND LIYEL IMOKE IS THE GOVERNOR OF CROSS RIVER STATE. ETIGHI IS FROM CROSS RIVER NOT AKWA IBOM. THIS SONG IS FACTUALLY INCORRECT AND INSULTING.

  20. Naneesh says:

Uhmmm, I missed the part where Davido claimed Godswill was the governor of Calabar. All I heard him say was "I go Calabar, I see Godswill Akpabio…" Seeing a governor in another state's capital doesn't make him the governor of that state.
