Neither of these 2 fraudsters have ever been affiliated with the notjustok team. It has come to our attention that these 2 criminals have stolen money from many upcoming artists who have attempted to get their songs on notjustok.com, by lying to them that their songs will be posted if they make payments to them directly.

Note that we at notjustok.com have never and do not collect money to post music or creative material on the website. If you ever want your music posted on notjustok.com, send it in mp3 format to music@notjustok.com. The team will listen and determine if it will be posted. In addition, if you ever need to advertise on notjustok.com, please fill the form HERE or send an email directly to advertising@notjustok.com.
Please be aware that if you ever want to transact business with anyone on the notjustok team, be sure that you NEVER do it via facebook, twitter or any social media site. The only way to be sure that you are dealing with someone who is truly on the notjustok team is via email and make sure that the email that they are corresponding with is authentic and has the @notjustok.com email address. If not, you are more than likely being defrauded and deceived AKA forming MUGU OR MAGA.
The profiles below may look real, but they are fake and many more may appear, but always remember that you should ONLY transact business with anyone who claims to be on the notjustok.com team only via EMAIL. Please be careful and guard your money from these criminals.

i need to be factual here, you guys at notjustok are the problem. DemolaOG and Ovie O and the others, you guys claim posting music on your website is free but that is not true. If it is free, how many upcoming act do you post on your website? we see only the big names and their videos, no upcoming act. personally i have e mailed you guys more than 10 times especially your advertising e mails, you guys will never reply. i have e mailed advertising@notjustok.com more than 10 times yet no reply from you guys, other online music website will never do that, they will always reply with a phone number to make contact and easily we post songs on them although its not free and we do not expect it to be free, nothing is actually free in this world.

I am releived to see this Ovie and actually I think I mentioned this to you when we spoke about a year ago.
I must apologise as well as for every artist that has asked me if I can forward their creatives to not just ok in the last year since I had reports from over a dozen claiming that they had linked Demola on Not Just Ok and wanted a better deal as the price was too high I really told them that if NJO has decided to go down that route then I really want nothing to do with them anymore.
Interestingly, I emailed Demola after this time on his usual email address and highlighted this to him by email after he responded to mine about artistes who were seeking digital distribution and advertisement but he didn't reply.
Just so you know, I charge artists for doing blog mailouts of presskits which is a job and is not free, but I do not charge folk to post on Not just ok, and sometimes I may also provide the same facilitation service to artists who need advertisements and want me to manage the advertisement placement, graphics or such like, in both cases, I usually email accros to the relevant address and you guys are to blame as you do not respond to ad requests except from those you prefer.
The last time that I had a campaign that needed adverts I contacted Demola and his non response led me to take the gesture as a snob and being that I am not a blogger or a blog and what I do is facilitate marketing campaigns amongst other stuff.
At that point I publicly dropped Notjustok from my mailout service lists and actually have been telling anyone who asks me about you people that I don't do business with k legged dodgy folk who are raking money from folk.
Will hit you up on the dog and bone when my workload permits, you know me…. i don't like to do business with anyone i cannot speak to on the phone because they are too big headed from speaking to Wandy R or whoever…ish.

Wow, that's terrible. I've reported both profiles. You are already doing what you should be doing (warning artists etc)….maybe put a small banner sized notice permanently on the right nav bar so that no one can say they didn't know.

Notjustok just my suggestion since you rarely ever post domestic up and coming artist. I feel you need to have a segment for the "next big thing". A tab on your page where people can go and critique and even vote. Once voted to be favorable to hammer, then post am for the regular page. By doing this you decentralize the market making it fair and who knows making Notjustok the Clyde David's of music/video websites.

1. charge you for their service
2. write you a good bio
3. create your album art or make sure its good
4. review your song and tell you the truth.
5. Create you a presskit
6.Distribute your music to as many blogs as possible and tell you clearly that some may post it and some may not, its not a guarantee
7.Distribute your music to channels that are reputable such as itunes, emusic etc so you gain credibility and accrue a smidgen of revenue however small from sales of your music.
8. Will guide you to utilise the best resources you have amply to generate radio and tv interest.
9. Will support you and help you to move forward with your career not just by being a sounding board but also by being a trusted person who can handle the business aspects of your career while you do what you do best.
10. that will wash your head and rinse it of the jinx and blindness you have that makes you think that if not just okay does not post your song it means it is not good or that the world should end or that the people at not just ok owe you an explanation.

Its really sad that it has gotten to this. I really won't blame those acts that pay those people. For a quite long time now, its been very difficult for upcoming artistes getting their songs on this platform. No disrespect for your terms and policies but a i know a whole lot of talented folks that do good music and are constantly ignored on NJO whereas some not talented folks are enjoying steady posts whenever they release singles. I advice you review your terms for posting songs. Plus i know you receive a massive amount of emails in a day, but as NJO is growing, the team ought to as well. God bless NJO.
