Here’s Dubie, the now Ex-lead singer of the The Pulse who won the 2009 version of Star Quest and shot to instant fame with their first single Sotey which also had a remix with US star Busta Ryhmes.
Dubie has decided to release his first single as a solo artiste and its titled Betrayal. He talks about broken promises and current situation of Nigeria and its people. The video was directed Soji Ogunnaike, I’m sure you’ve come accross the gentleman critically evaluate alot of videos on our site. Very cool track, and a well directed video by Mr Soji. i personally feel that there’s no such thing as bad publicity, what ever you feel about the video does not change the fact that this video is being watched by a whole lot of people ryt now. and also its a good thing that nobody has criticized the artist or the song. @SPLEEN EATER, you don’t have to go all gangster on this soji guy,cursing and threatening like a Boko haram spokesman, NA SOJI GET HIM MOUTH and its his personal oppinion, so deal with it…..

I like the video. I love the concept. It's not perfectly executed, but conceptualluy it creates the mood and passes the message clearly and with creativity.

Everyone has a right to his artistic expression, as a creative artiste, I am not answerable to d critiqs. this long thread is a big lesson, that instead of wasting time analysing other pples work destructively,try to improve yourself. if u go into any work to find mistakes, u will surely find it.I dont create my work for everybody(not even the Beatles did) to me Monalisa Painting is trash, but it is still one of d most recognised universally. critisizing doesnt make u an authority, it makes u look like a jealous mug. the best way to prove someone has done trash is for u to produce a better one, arm chair critics are only toothless bulldogs, they can bark, but cannot bite.
Nobody says any artist is answerable to critics. The job of the critic is to publicly express his/her opinion on any work of art, regardless of whether he/she can do better.
